Desperate Housewives: The Musical

Creating dreamcasts in your head is equally fun with things that will obviously never ever happen, such as Desperate Housewives: The Musical.
I've been watching Desperate Housewives since its very beginnings, and so it was inevitable that I would recast it at one point or another.
So, here it is- Wisteria Lane Pre-Death-of-Mary-Alice.

Marin Mazzie as Lynette Scavo
(originally played by Felicity Huffman)

Jason Danieley as Tom Scavo
(originally played by Doug Savant)

Caren Lyn Tackett as Susan Mayer
(originally played by Teri Hatcher)

Bryan D'Arcy James as Karl Mayer
(originally played by Richard Burgi)

Leah Greenhaus as Julie Mayer
(originally played by Andrea Bowen)

Laura Benanti as Bree Van de Kamp
(originally played by Marcia Cross)

Jeremy Kushnier as Rex Van de Kamp
(originally played by Steven Culp)

Jessica Phillips as Mary Alice Young
(originally played by Brenda Strong)

Stephen Spinella as Paul Young(originally played by Mark Moses)

Mandy Gonzalez as Gabrielle Solis
(originally played by Eva Longoria)

Christopher Jackson as Carlos Solis
(originally played by Ricardo Antonio Chavira)

Sherie Rene Scott as Edie Britt
(originally playes by Nicollette Sheridan)

Let me just emphasize one more time that, unlike the Across the Universe dreamcast, this is totally just in good fun. Damn, a Desperate Housewives musical would be an utter disaster.
An Across the Universe stage musical, on the other hand, would not. I may have mentioned that already. Once or twenty times.

Also, casting Marin and Jason as Lynette and Tom was totally an accident but I also think it works. Same with Mandy Gonzalez and Chris Jackson. But I enjoy these coincidences.
:)
